Yes, but we strongly encourage you to use the Marygold app to make deposits for three important reasons.
- Reduce 'fat finger' errors. Manually having to key-in lots of numbers is prone to error. When me2me transfers are instructed, from within the Marygold app, all the required information to instruct the payment are automatically transferred so this error simply cannot occur.
- Speed and convenience. By instructing me2me transfers (using Moneyhub, our Open Banking partner) the instruction to transfer your funds can be done in seconds with a few taps of your phone.
- Security. We want our customers to have total confidence when using Marygold and me2me transfers. When using me2me our customers can be 100% confident that their money is only ever transferred between accounts held in their name only. No money is ever transferred through third-party accounts, including Marygold.
If you choose to make a deposit to Marygold directly from your bank app be very careful to only use your Primary Account. If you make a deposit from another account then your account may be frozen while checks are carried out (you need to contact support@marygoldandco.uk).
