The General Savings pool is created for all new customers as soon as they open a Marygold account. It is simply a Marygold Easy Access Saving Account but one that cannot be deleted (other money pools you create can be deleted). You will retain a General Savings pool as long as your Marygold account is open.
The General Savings pool can be used for any savings you have, which may not need to be allocated for any particular reason or goal.
The General Savings pool will also be used to transfer any savings currently residing in a Money Pool which you decide to delete.
