No, but we strongly encourage our customer to use the Marygold app to make deposits for three reasons.
1. We believe open banking payments are the most secure way for bank transfers to occur. No bank login information is ever exposed and account owners retain control throughout the process.
2. We eliminate the possibility of fat-finger errors in entering the required information to enable a successful transfer.
3. It is really quick and really convenient. We feel confident that once you have tried the service out, you will love it.
If you choose to initiate a deposit to your Marygold Account directly from your bank app you need to make sure you use your Primary Account. We only accept deposits and withdrawals from your nominated Primary Account. If you make a deposit from another account then your account may be frozen while checks are carried out (you need to contact support@marygoldandco.uk).
