The Primary Account can be changed (for example if you have changed current account provider) via the Profile settings section of the app. However, any change request will be subject to a check that the account holder name always matches.
If your the account holder name of the new current account is a perfect match for the Marygold account holder name, then this check should be automatic. If there is a difference then the check may be subject to a small delay.
In order to change your Primary Account:
- Go to the Profile Screen
- Click on 'Marygold Accounts'
- Select the Marygold Account for which the Primary Account needs updating
- Click on 'Primary Account' at the top
- If you have already 'linked' the new Primary Account, select it from the list
- If you need to add a brand new external account click 'Add New', and follow the on-screen instructions
Note, once the change request has been processed:
- you can deposit funds from your new Primary Account straight away, but
- you cannot make withdrawals to your new Primary Account for 7-days.
