We communicate with customers for several reasons.
Often there is a legal, or regulatory, requirement for us to do so. As a result, and owing to the fact that it is possible to deny apps access to send phone notifications, we often use emails to communicate in addition to system 'push' notifications.
However, we know that too many messages and notifications can be annoying. So we want to give customers as much control as possible to determine what messages you receive from Marygold and in which format.
Under the Profile Settings screen in the Marygold app, under 'Notifications', you can specify which messages in which format is your preference.
In addition, we have the ability to send 'banner' messages within the Home Screen of the app. Typically these might notify you of an important change to the app and potentially important account information. These will be less frequent and can be closed form the Home Screen.
